Mr Clark is a Tjap/Peek Whurrong Traditional Owner from South West Victoria with over 25 years’ experience in Indigenous affairs including Cultural Heritage, Native Title and land management. He is a strong believer in Aboriginal peoples right to self determination and passionate about developing and providing opportunities for his people to improve their economic and social outcomes. Working in a variety of fields has given him a strong background in business management, stakeholder relations, governance, marketing and tourism.

He has a Graduate Certificate in Applied Science for Environmental & Heritage Interpretation, Deakin University, is a board member of Native Title Services Victoria, and the Victorian Aboriginal Economic Board and previously been Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation Chairperson, CEO at Brambuk the National Park & Cultural Centre, Director of the Federation of Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations, Director of Grampians Tourism and was the recipient of the 1997 Victorian Aboriginal Young Achievers Award.
